Otherwise, forty years ago the former newsletter of Mace donian emigration, and today the web site “Macedonian nation” was a real national fo rum, in which all Macedonians or Macedoni ans who want to work for the good and hap piness of their nation participate.

In all the past years, every honest Mace donian, regardless of his ideological beliefs or party affiliation, has allowed the “Mace donian nation” newspaper to represent and serve the Macedonian national cause.

Newsletter “Macedonian nation”. it was registered as an independent magazine (journal) on social issues and culture, as a bi-monthly, and was published in Munich. The first issue was printed on January 30, 1971 (as a bi-monthly for January-February), in initial issues as an independent newslet ter, and then as an authority of the Move ment for the Liberation of Macedonia (DOM) and the National Liberation Front of Mace donia (NLFM).

It was printed in Macedonian, in about thirty pages, in a magazine (newspaper) for mat of 21 x 29 cm. The magazine’s headline is in Macedonian, but the color of each cli che changes. The sixth number goes to the editors, first Dragan Radinski, then Dra gan Bogdanovski, then Eng. Tanas Tashev, Blagoj Dzambeveki, Vane Samoilov and others.

Otherwise, in 1962, Macedonian emigra tion to Sweden formed the Macedonian Lib eration Committee (OKM) in order to create an all-Macedonian national movement for the unification of Macedonia into an inde pendent Macedonian state. The need for a newsletter promoting the views of the or ganization was raised at the Extraordinary Congress in Copenhagen in 1971, when a de cision was made to issue an official body – the Macedonian nation newspaper.

From the very beginning, the newspaper “Macedonian Nation” was a real national de bate. It is stated in the opening article of the f irst issue that emphasizes the following: “Only in one part of our suffering home land, in Vardar Macedonia, the Macedonian today can freely express his national feeling – to say that he is Macedonian. In the other two parts of unhappy Macedonia, our com patriots are forced to shout what they are not, even if they are not allowed to speak their mother tongue.

Our brothers and sis ters under Greek and Bhutanese slavery are constantly exposed to a systematic de nationalization regime aimed at destroying them as a people, burying and burying them, or forcibly evicting them from their home towns. Macedonian expatriates and immi grants from abroad, as well as Macedonian new migrants who are temporarily working abroad, mingle primarily under the warm maternal wing of their national autoceph alous Macedonian Orthodox inside church. As a reflection of that national life of Mac edonian expatriates, immigrants and tem porary migrants abroad, this humble maga zine appeared “Macedonian Nation”.

The continuation states that the purpose of the newsletter “Macedonian nation” is, among other things, to protect the national interests of the entire Macedonian people; to fight for national rights and freedoms for Macedonians under Greece and Bulgaria; to prepare the ground for the unification of the three parts of divided Macedonia into a sin gle Macedonian national whole; to work for a richer spiritual, cultural and political life of Macedonians abroad and to spread the outside world the truth about Macedonia and the Macedonian people, thereby expos ing the lies and slander spread by Balkan na tionalists and imperialists.

The name of the newsletter clearly de scribes its general Macedonian national character, that is, it is not a body of a po litical party, society or organization, but a broad national tribune in which every Mace donian who wishes to work for the good and happiness of his nation.

The publishers of the “Macedonian Nation” believe that every honorable Macedonian can serve the Mace donian cause, regardless of his philosophi cal views, ideological beliefs or Pargian affil iation. The newsletter is not intended to be either anti-communist or communist, but a supra-party, one broad Macedonian national tribune, which will work to achieve Macedo nian unity.

The second issue is printed as a duplicate for March and April 1971, in the same format, 20 pages, with a change of head color. And the next four numbers in 1971 are identical to the first number in terms of form, techni cal solution and content.
