PART OF THE MONOGRAPH “GOJKO JAKOVLEVSKI” BY SLAVE KATIN
The monographic work entitled “Gojko Jakov levski”, (2025) “Macedonian Spark” from Skopje, at, 216, is ready. It is dedicated to the virtuous Macedonian, businessman, prominent humanist and proven donor, spiritual devotee and proud member of his biblical lineage and the Macedonian land, Gojko Jakovleski, alias Gojko Delchev Rafkin – Goce Makedonski
He is a famous political emigrant who lived in Germany, in the city of Berlin, for many years. His name is known, recognized, respected and re spected in a number of fields and has been con firmed for decades in the Macedonian community in Berlin, Germany and beyond. Gojko is a fighter for an independent, self-sufficient and united eth nic Macedonia and for the unification of the Mac edonian people.
The publication “Monograph Goyko Jakovleski” is dedicated to the hero Gotse of Macedonia, who strives for the affirmation of ethnic Macedonia and ethnicunification. Such a prominent businessman, a lover of the Macedoni an people all over the world and in his fatherland of Macedonia, has always be led by the sacred thought of leaving eternal marks for the future Macedoni an generations.
It should be emphasized that it is not easy and simple to write about inspiring, entrusting, and vowing people, about people who leave indelible traces with their lives and their deeds, both in their contemporaries and the generations to come. Such is the case with Goyko Yakov leski, alias Goyko Delchev Rafkin – Gotse of Macedonia, a Macedonian from Mace donia, from Gostivar region, from Berlin, from the entire democratic world.

The publication “Monograph Goyko Jakovle ski” makes effort to shed light on his life path. This work is composed in several chapters, each of which has several sections, representing a chronological and thematically rounded whole.
Goyko Delchev Rafkin is an extremely great, well-known, recognized and inevi table figure in the Macedonian diaspora and in Macedonia. He is undoubtedly one of the most economically successful Mac edonians in the world. Although he has lived in Berlin and Macedonia for a long time, since his emigration to the pres ent day he has been deeply and strongly connected with the fate, truth and events in the born country.
Goyko is a Macedonin an by nationality and an Orthodox Chris tian by faith. He is one of the greatest in itiators and organizers of the defense of the Macedonian name and truth. Gotse of Macedonia is the defender and affirmator of both the history of ethnic Macedonia and the honor of the Macedonian people in the world.
In addition, the founder of many Macedonian organizations in European countries, the famous and recognized patriot, who decided Macedonia to be his goal and future, and for that cause a sufferer – Dragan Bogdanovski, was a close friend and comrade of Goyko Yakovleski. They worked together for the future of Mace donia and are the founders of the Demo cratic Party for Macedonian People’s Uni ty, today known as VMRO-DPMNE.
The life story of Goyko started in the village of Zubovce, the beautiful village in Gostivar region on February 20, 1935. Zubovce is a settlement located at the foot of Shara Mountain, between the villages of Debreshe (on the south) and Vrapchishte (on the north), which he left a long time ago, but never forgot his origin and his Macedonia. On the contrary, he returned with love and respect for Mac edonia, where he was drawn by his roots and nostalgia.
Goyko shared the same destiny as his ancestors – fortune seekers, when his par ents decided to send him to Sofia when he was at the age of seven, during the World War II. In 1942, Jorde and Filka, the broth er and daughter-in-law of Goyko’s father Delche, came from Sofia to Zubovce, in or der to adopt Goyko, to take him with them to live in Sofia, and to educate him there. He spent his youth in Sofia. He completed primary and secondary education there.
