Turkish rescuers pulled three people alive, including a child, from the ruins, 13 days after the great earthquake that claimed tens of thousands of lives, local media reports, reports AFP.
A journalist for the Turkish television channel NTV reported that one of those found died after being taken to the hospital. The TV channel broadcast footage of rescuers putting rescued people on stretchers after spending 296 hours under the rubble.
Yesterday, Turkish rescuers pulled a 45-year-old man from the rubble, and three other people were found alive, including a 14-year-old boy.
An earthquake measuring 7,8 on the Richter scale struck southeastern Turkey and Syria on February 6, killing more than 43.000 people and leaving many still missing.
