The Secretary General of SDSM, Aleksandar Dimitriević, today made new allegations about suspicious tenders and public procurements related to one of the government's favorite companies. The company is called "Lendi Group", which he indicated had won 74 tenders worth 17,6 million euros in a two-year period.
The sharp increase in contracts concluded with the indicated company, according to the opposition party's claims, began in 2024, continued in 2025 and continues to this day.
"Last year alone, 59 contracts were concluded, most of them in municipalities run by VMRO-OKG. Symptomatically, the value of these contracts almost completely coincides with the estimated value of the tenders. This is a fundamental suspicion - an indicator of rigged tenders and public procurements," said the SDSM Secretary General at today's press conference.
Dimitrijevic says that the institutions have been silent for almost two months regarding the allegations made so far by the SDSM Anti-Corruption Team related to suspicious tenders conducted by the government.
"There is no money for higher salaries, farmers' subsidies are being cut by 40 million euros, and behind the people's backs, the same companies are winning multi-million tenders with millions of euros. 161 tenders for Tomovski's family company, 51 tenders for another company through the municipalities, now 74 tenders for a third company close to the government. For the VMRO-ZNAM coalition, the tenders are like a lottery that they give to themselves," added Dimitrijevic, calling out the Prosecutor's Office, the SCPC and the Financial Police for remaining silent about the allegations made so far by SDSM about suspicious public procurement.
This is the comment that VMRO-DPMNE MP Brane Petrushevski made in response to journalistic questions regarding SDSM's latest accusations - that the company "Lendi Group", which they assessed to be close to the government, won 74 tenders worth 17,6 million euros in a period of two years.
"SDS, which is counting these tenders for the last two years, should expand the calculation to the past years, when they were in power. And they will come to the conclusion that this same company, perhaps twice as many tenders, has won, when the institutions were run by SDS together with DUI. So, this is a populist accusation. Such populist press conferences are nothing more than a simple attempt to deceive the public," said Petrushevski.
