McLaren driver Oscar Piastre has taken pole position ahead of tomorrow's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the seventh race of the Formula One season.
The Australian, who is chasing his fourth consecutive victory at Imola, took his third pole position this year. Red Bull's Max Verstappen finished second, with Mercedes' George Russell a tenth behind the defending champion.
The second half brought disappointment for Ferrari fans, as both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton were eliminated in the final moments and finished in 11th and 12th place.
