Long-time member of the UMD Advisory Board, Jerry Naumov, will receive the “OMD Award for Public Service in Service of Macedonian Heritage.”
This special award will be presented at the gala evening marking the 20th anniversary of UMD and the Macedonian Diaspora's "40 Under 40" Awards ceremony, which will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Marriott Renaissance Center Hotel, in Detroit, USA.
"Jerry Naumov's lifelong commitment to the progress of Macedonia, his work in the public sector, and his tireless efforts to advance the global Macedonian community are a true example of visionary leadership. From his influential tenure as Macedonia's Minister of Foreign Investment, to his role as Honorary President and Co-Founder of Taskforce BPO – one of the fastest growing companies in Southeast Europe, Jerry is a strong supporter of job creation, economic development, and international recognition of Macedonia," UMD said.
Today, he continues to lead as the Lead Independent Member of Rumble's Board of Directors, chairing the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, and is also a member of the Audit Committee.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jerry’s deep-rooted Macedonian heritage and personal life story, raised in a close-knit Macedonian immigrant family in Columbus, Ohio, reflect the values upon which UMD was founded. Along with his beloved wife, LuAnn, their six children, and eight grandchildren, Jerry continues to inspire with his unwavering commitment to the future of Macedonia.
