In June, an annual growth of 7,2% in total deposits and a growth of 6,4% in total credit support was observed, according to data from the National Bank.
Analyzed on an annual basis, total deposits have increased by 7,2%, as a result of the increased deposits of both sectors, with a significantly greater contribution of the household sector.
- In June, total deposits recorded a monthly increase of 0,4%, which is entirely due to the higher deposits of the corporate sector - say the NB.
On an annual basis, total loans recorded a growth of 6,4%, which results from the growth of loans to both sectors, with a more pronounced contribution of loans to the household sector.
In terms of loans to households, monthly and annual increases of 1,0% and 7,1% were recorded in June, which was largely due to increased lending in denars, while loans in foreign currency also increased.
From the data, it can be seen that citizens borrow mostly for buying cars and apartments. In June, car loans increased by 7,5% on a monthly basis, while the annual growth is 25,3%, while consumer and housing loans recorded a monthly growth of 0,8% and 0,9%, with an annual growth of 5,8 % and 10,2%.
Loans approved on credit cards are lower on a monthly and annual basis by 0,3% and 8,0%,
This month, negative balances on current accounts recorded a monthly and annual growth of 5,7% and 7,9%, respectively, while loans approved on other grounds, in June, were lower by 2,0% on a monthly basis and 18,8 %, on an annual basis.
