Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios could soon end his professional career, at least if his post on social networks is to be believed.
Kyrgios posted a black-and-white picture of himself alongside several photos with Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Venus Williams with an interesting caption.
“Tennis… Damn… It was a crazy trip!!!! It all started because of you. I am forever grateful to you. I love all my fans. There are only a few more chapters left…”
On the same day, the Australian announced that he planned to play at the Australian Open in January 2025, and many interpreted that he would end his career after the tournament in Melbourne.
It was also announced that the 29-year-old will probably play several tournaments before the Grand Slam in his homeland, in order to be as ready as possible for the Australian Open.
Kyrgios recorded the best ranking in his career in 2016 when he held the 13th place on the ATP list. He won a total of 7 titles, but it is believed that he did not use all the talent he possesses.
