Ethan Hawke arrived at the Toronto Film Festival by bus. According to People, he had to make it to the premiere of his new movie Wildcat.
– Three flights had already been cancelled, so I said to myself: "I'm not going to miss this because of this airport." So we went to the station and caught a bus, he shared.
Hawke, who made the trip with his wife, Ryan Shaw Hughes Hawke, a co-producer on the film, said he had a good time along the way, reading a book in the back of the passenger car. At the same time, he emphasized that no one recognized everything until they arrived at customs.
Wildcat is a biographical drama about writer Flannery O'Connor and her struggle to publish her first novel, Wise Blood, in 1952. Ethan's daughter from his marriage to Uma Thurman, Maya Hawke, stars in the film.
