All 16 participants in the round of 16 of this year's Champions League have been announced. Tonight, Atalanta, PSG, Real Madrid and Galatasaray have qualified.
All of these teams go to the left side of the skeleton, just as Tuesday's winners (Atletico, Newcastle, Bayer Leverkusen, Bode/Glimt) went to the right side.
It is known which opponents the winners of the play-off can face.
PSG – Barcelona/Chelsea
Galatasaray – Liverpool/Tottenham
Real Madrid – Sporting/Manchester City
Atalanta – Arsenal/Bayern Munich
Newcastle – Barcelona/Chelsea
Atletico Madrid – Tottenham/Liverpool
Bode Glimt – Manchester City/Sporting
Leverkusen – Arsenal/Bayern Munich
It is clear that several derby matches will be played in the round of 16.
– European champion PSG goes to Barca or Chelsea
– Atletico and Galatasaray are definitely going to the Island, one to Tottenham and the other to Liverpool
– Real and City hope to avoid each other and go to Sporting, or to Bode/Glimt.
– Arsenal and Bayern, the top two teams in the first phase, will have the easiest tasks, as their opponents will be Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta.
The draw for the round of 16 will be made on Friday.
