Carlos Alcaraz is the third seed in the semifinals of the ATP tournament in Barcelona. The Spanish ace defeated Alex De Minaur of Australia with a final 2-0, in sets 7-5 and 6-3.
De Minor put up a strong fight in the first set, managing to break twice, but Alcaraz was focused and managed to seal the set in the final game 7-5. The second set was decided by Alcaraz's break in the sixth game, after which De Minor's collapse began.
In the semifinals, the Spaniard will face the winner of the match between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Arthur Fils.
