Mitchell's 71 points for another night to remember

Last night in the NBA was marked by Donovan Mitchell who scored 71 points for Cleveland in the match against Chicago.

Mitchell played the best game of his career, breaking numerous NBA records. With the figure of 71 points, he became the second basketball player with the most points in this millennium. Only Kobe Bryant scored more than him in 2006 (81 points).

No Cleveland player had scored as many points before. LeBron James and Kyrie Irving scored the most, both with 57.

In NBA history, only three basketball players have scored more than 71 points. Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant and David Thompson.

Chabrlain did it twice with 100 and 78 points each, and here are Kobe Bryant with 81 and David Thompson with 73. David Robinson and Elgin Baylor scored 71 points as well as Mitchell.
