The best Macedonian tennis player, Lina Gjorcheska, started the year 2023 victoriously, after defeating the qualifier Radka Zelnitskova (6-2, 6-4) in the first round of the tournament in Tallinn (Estonia).
The Macedonian came to triumph in almost 80 minutes, thus justifying the epithet favorite as the third seed of this ITF gathering.
In the next round, Gjorcheska will compete with the Spaniard Andrea Lazaro Garcia (28 years old). The tournament in Tallinn is played on hard court for a prize fund of 40.000 USD.
