Haqim Ramadani from Brvenica is no longer a director: I am only looking for work in private companies

Date:

The former director of the State Inspectorate for Local Self-Government and VLEN candidate for mayor of the Municipality of Brvenica, Haqim Ramadani, who lost the elections yesterday to VMRO-DPMNE candidate Jovica Ilievski, announced on his Facebook profile that as of today he is unemployed and is only looking for work in private companies.

"As of today, I am unemployed. I am a graduate economist. I am only looking for work in private companies," he wrote on Facebook.

Prime Minister and leader of the ruling VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, announced last week that Hakim Ramadani would be dismissed from office due to his statements made during a visit to the diaspora.

There, Ramadani declared that he had to win the election race in Brvenica just because he was Albanian.

"After he first loses the elections in Brvenica, he will naturally be dismissed from the position he currently holds," said Mickoski.

As the Prime Minister said at the time, Ramadani's statements represent a big mistake, especially for the mayoral candidates from VLEN.
