The Premier League season ended without major drama in the finale, but it still brought some huge stories that will be remembered for a long time. The biggest surprise is definitely West Ham's relegation to the Championship, something that few could have imagined before the start of the season.
The new English champion Arsenal received the championship bracket on the road against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, and then with goals from Gabriel Jesus and Noni Madueke they reached another triumph of 1-2. The match was also the farewell for coach Oliver Glasner on the Palace bench.
Pep Guardiola's decision to leave Manchester City at the end of the season was also in the spotlight this week.
Although such a scenario had long been speculated, the confirmation caused strong emotions among the Etihad fans. Before the match with Aston Villa, Guardiola received a standing ovation from the entire stadium, and a special moment was the gesture of Unai Emery.
City took the lead through Antoine Semeno, but Villa turned things around with two goals from Ollie Watkins and won 1-2.

Bournemouth were left without a place in the Champions League after a draw with Nottingham Forest (1-1), but qualifying for Europe remains a historic success for the club.
Sunderland also achieved a big result, defeating Chelsea 2-1. The scorers were Dan Hume and an own goal by Malo Gusto, while Cole Palmer only softened the defeat for the "Blues".
Manchester United recorded a routine victory away at Brighton. In the 0-3 triumph, Bruno Fernandes set a new Premier League record with 21 assists in a single season. Patrick Dorgu and Brian Mbeumo also scored.
