Serbia and the USA were the first to secure a place in the semi-finals of the World Basketball Championship

Serbia played a dominant match against the Lithuanian national team, the Serbs won 87-68 and placed among the top four in Mundobasket.

The first quarter was uncertain, after those 10 minutes Lithuania had a lead of 25-24. But in the continuation of the match, things started to go differently.

Serbia began to dominate, turned the score around, won the second quarter 25-13 and went into the break with a 49-38 advantage.

In the second half, Serbia continued to increase the advantage, during the last quarter it reached the highest difference of 25 points, it was 82-57. The final score ended up being 87-68.

Bogdanovic was the best in the Serbian team, he scored 21 points, Petrushev gave 17 points. Among the Lithuanians, Sedekerskis was the best with 14 points.

In the semi-finals, Serbia will play the better of the match between Canada and Slovenia, that is the match that is being played today.

The Americans had no mercy on Italy, they defeated it 100-63 and placed among the four best in the World Basketball Championship.

In the semi-finals, the USA will play the better of the match between Germany and Latvia.
