Actor Russell Crowe has said that after a 40-year career, he is considering retirement and retiring from Hollywood. He told reporters that he felt old and that it was time for him to retire, "Daily Mail" reported.
"Now I'm in that period where I stand in front of the mirror and wonder who I'm looking at." I will take Ridley Scott as an example, who is still discovering new things in his work. Or I'll just disappear and you'll never hear from me again," Crowe told reporters at a festival in the Czech Republic.
When asked if he would star in the sequel to Gladiator, due out in 2024, Crowe said he didn't want to be asked any more questions about that film.
"I don't know who got the role or what the plot of the film will be because my character is already dead at the end of the first film. "Ridley Scott must have had a very strong reason to start working on the sequel after all this time," Crowe said.
As a reminder, the actor is currently working on several projects and is engaged in the films "Rothko", "American Son" and "Taste for Blood".
