Required:
- 500g peas
- Three potatoes (medium size)
- Onion head
- One clove of garlic
- 150ml milk + a tablespoon of flour (you can also use cooking cream as a substitute)
- Spices if desired

Preparation: In a large pot, put the peas, potatoes, garlic and onions to boil. When they boil, cook for another 15 minutes on medium heat. When the vegetables are soft, pour out the water, but do not throw it away. Mix well with a mixer stick or in a blender. Gradually add water until you get the desired consistency. Usually, not all the water should be added, but some people like the potage to have a soupy consistency. The choice is yours. Finally, add the neutral cream, or the flour mixed with water. Let the potage boil, then add the spices. Cook for a short time until the spices combine and the potage thickens. Serve with a little sour cream and a few slices of stale bread.
