Knitted cookies

Date:

Ingredients:

Dough
250 g of margarine
1 egg
1 cup of powdered sugar (150 ml cup)
1 cup of starch
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons yogurt
1 packet of vanilla
1 packet of baking powder
500 fl flour

Phil
3 tablespoons apricot marmalade
1 tablespoons cocoa
150 g of crushed walnuts
crushed biscuits as needed

Prepare
1. The filling in the original recipe was with fried apples and cinnamon, but I didn't have any at the time, so I made my own, whatever I found. The most important thing is that it is dry, so that it doesn't spill out during baking.
2. Mix all the ingredients for the dough and knead the dough. Divide it into balls, mine were 70 g each.
3. Roll out each ball of dough to the size of a coffee cup saucer. Use a knife to trim the edges to create a rectangular shape.
4. Divide the dough into 4 parts, put a ball of filling on one, leave the opposite part whole, and cut the other two into strips, I cut them into 5. (look at the pictures, it will be clearer for you)
5. Fold the opposite section over the filling and gently press the edges with your fingers. Then start braiding the strips, one on one side, then another on the other side, and do this with all of them.
6. Bake at 180 degrees for about fifteen minutes, until slightly golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
