Chicken baked with Parmesan is a quick meal and tastier than from a restaurant.
This recipe contains basil. It is healthy to consume because it is rich in vitamins K, C and A, as well as calcium, potassium, iron and magnesium. It gives the dishes a perfect aroma, can be used fresh or dried. It has anti-inflammatory properties.
Ingredients needed:
- 4 halves of chicken fillet
- Sol

- 2 large eggs
- 240 g breadcrumbs (or more as needed)
- 180 g of parmesan
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 120 ml olive oil (for frying)
- 120 g of tomato sauce
- 60 g of mozzarella
- 60 g fresh basil
- 120 gr was yellow
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
Preparation:
First, preheat the oven to 230 degrees. Place the chicken fillets in a resealable bag and on a flat surface. Pound the chicken firmly with a meat mallet until it is 5 cm thick. Then season well with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the flour over the fillets, coating both sides evenly. Beat the eggs in a shallow bowl and set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and half of the grated Parmesan and set aside. Dip the floured meat in the beaten eggs. Transfer to the breadcrumb mixture and coat both sides. Let the chicken rest for 10 to 15 minutes. Heat the oil in a frying pan over high heat and fry the chicken in the hot oil until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
Transfer the chicken to a baking dish. Top each fillet with 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce, diced mozzarella, chopped fresh basil, and grated cheese. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top and drizzle with a little olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
