It is important to drink plenty of water throughout the year, especially during the summer. Of course, besides water, we occasionally like to refresh ourselves with a nice cocktail.

At the top of the list of most popular drinks is still the combination of gin and tonic, and today we bring you a recipe for a variant with watermelon juice.

INGREDIENTS:

– 1.200 grams of watermelon without seeds

– 100 ml of lime juice

– 250 ml of gin

– tonic

– 2 tablespoons of agave syrup

– A few leaves of fresh mint

- ice

PREPARATION:

  1. Remove the seeds from the watermelon, cut it into cubes and then put it in a blender.

When you have blended the watermelon well, squeeze it through a strainer or fine cheesecloth to remove the foam that will form and finally get pure watermelon juice.

  1. Then pour the juice into a jug and add agave syrup, lime juice and mint and mix everything well with a spoon. Finally, add the gin and mix again.
  2. Before serving, put ice in the glasses, then pour the gin and watermelon juice mixture and finally pour the tonic into each glass.
