The first teaser trailer for "The Devil Wears Prada 2," the long-awaited sequel to the 2006 cult film, has finally arrived. Fans of Miranda Priestly and her assistants have been given a glimpse into the next chapter of this fashion story.
In its signature style, 20th Century Studios released the trailer with the legendary line: "A sequel? For spring? Revolutionary." The video is accompanied by Madonna's song "Vogue," which also marked the original film, and confirms the return of the main stars.
"Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return in 'The Devil Wears Prada 2', in theaters May 1, 2026," the official statement said.
The new film will follow Runway magazine editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly (Streep) as she struggles to maintain her career in a world where print journalism is slowly disappearing.
The situation becomes even more complicated when Miranda confronts Emily Charlton (Blunt), her former junior assistant, who has since become the powerful CEO of a luxury group. It is her marketing budget that Priestley desperately needs to save her empire.
Along with the return of beloved characters from the first film, it has been announced that a number of new faces will be joining the cast, while some of the supporting characters will not appear in the sequel.
