The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office Skopje shared new details about the stabbing of the Bulgarian fan in Chair, which is just one of the incidents that marked yesterday's football match between Shkupi and Levski from Sofia.

According to the initial findings of the Prosecutor's Office, the incident occurred after Levski fans, with two vehicles with Bulgarian license plates, were driving near the "Chairchanka" shopping center, where they first got into a verbal argument with passers-by and citizens.

Then the Bulgarian fans stopped the vehicles and got out of them, after which the verbal argument turned into a fight with a group of citizens who got out of the surrounding buildings.

When returning to the car, a 29-year-old Bulgarian citizen was stabbed in the stomach with a sharp object. He was diagnosed with serious bodily injury and was hospitalized. After a surgical intervention, he is in a stable condition.

Initial knowledge of the Prosecutor's Office is that the local citizens involved in the incident are not part of a fan group. But it will be checked.

"In order to establish the identity of the citizens who participated in the event and who, according to the initial information, were not part of a local fan group, as well as to completely clean up the event, traces from the scene of the event were picked up and will be the subject of an expert examination. In addition, video recordings from the surrounding facilities and from the cameras of the 'Safe City' system have been secured, and other actions are being taken."
