The narrow, long, rectangular house looks like a low-rise skyscraper, and is made entirely of reflective glass, making it appear to blend in with its surroundings and disappear into the desert. The mirror facade is lined with glass worth 700 thousand dollars

It was designed by film producer Chris Hanley, who found inspiration in the movie A Space Odyssey, which embodies the futuristic look he wanted to achieve. Architect and artist Tomas Osinski helped him realize the idea. It took them six years to build. Due to the site's high temperatures, the facade is wrapped in $700.000 worth of heat-reflective Solarcool glass, which also gives the mirrors their appearance.

Minimalistic aesthetics

The house is characterized by concrete floors and light furniture so as not to distract from the beautiful view of the desert. It covers 550 square meters and has three bedrooms with their own bathrooms, a kitchen and a dining room.

If the hot desert temperatures scare you, don't worry, there's an indoor pool in the living room to cool off, and when the temperatures drop, you can heat it up. The glass walls can be opened from three sides.

The Invisible House has hosted many celebrities, such as Demi Lovato and Diplo. It was mostly rented for weddings, shooting advertising campaigns and promotional videos, and it could also be rented for an ordinary weekend through Booking.
