The Macedonian Orthodox Church - Ohrid Archbishopric (MOC-OA) and the Australian company "Pella Global Limited", from Perth, have begun business cooperation through a company they jointly founded.
As published in the Central Register, the activity of the company "Konstantin Energy" is the production of energy from renewable sources.
According to the registry data, the company was founded with a cash deposit of 5.000 euros.
The director is an Australian of Macedonian origin, Nikolche Jovanovski . He is one of the directors of "Pella Global Limited", a company that works on mining and renewable energy projects across Southeast Europe.
The short biography of Jovanovski states that he speaks Macedonian fluently, is a member of the diaspora, and has been key to the success of "Pella Global Limited" as its founder and CEO since its inception.
The website of "Pella Global Limited" states that the company's strategy is: the promotion and development of the project to restart the antimony crystal mine in Krstov Dol, near Kriva Palanka, and the project to find gold near Luke, near Kriva Palanka.
This is not the first entry of the MOC-OA into the energy sector.
In 2020, MPC-OA, together with three individuals and the company "Milling and Baking Industry Zito Karaorman", founded the "Dragov Dol" hydroelectric power plant in Kicevo.
Two years later, in 2022, MPC-OA entered as a partner in the company "Trinity Solar", which is also registered for electricity production.
In addition to the electricity business, the largest religious community in Macedonia, together with "Mega Fashion", founded the company "Obnoviteli", with which they are constructing the new buildings opposite the "Holiday Inn" hotel in Skopje.
