MZT Skopje Aerodrom celebrated their away win over TFT Skopje with 70:69 in a match played in Negorci. This was a duel from the last 18th round of the regular season, and the current champion MZT Skopje enters the Super League as the first place. Both teams exchanged leads, had double-digit advantages, and in the end the match was decided by a single free throw with three seconds left.
Aerodrom started the match better and quickly reached a nine-point advantage (15:6). The guests' advantage lasted until the beginning of the second quarter, and then TFT played better and by the end of the first half reached a four-point advantage (33:29). The hosts of this match led almost throughout the entire last quarter, and for the first time they reached a double-digit advantage of 47:37. TFT also led with 52:42, and on the eve of the last quarter they reached a positive of six points.
TFT was leading 56:48, when MZT played much better and with a 17:1 run they reached a lead of 65:57. However, TFT did not give up and slowly reduced the deficit and in the last minute tied the score at 69:69. TFT had an attack to win, but the hosts made a mistake in their steps, so there were four seconds left for MZT.
Aerodromci went on the attack, and Tashovski committed a foul with two seconds left. McQuael Smith hit the first free throw, and then intentionally missed the second, and TFT had no chance to organize an attack and Aerodromci rejoiced in the triumph.
