Macedonian juniors traveled to the EuroBasket in Lithuania

The young women's basketball team of Macedonia under 18 traveled to Lithuania, where they will compete in the European Championship in Division "B".

Coach Viktor Petrovski expressed his expectations for a decent performance.

"Considering that we are one of the youngest national teams, it gives an additional factor for greater desire and motivation. The group is difficult, we have the

But I know that our girls are very motivated and we will go to 120 percent of our potential in every match.

"What we can expect is that we will all give our best and that we will play our best game, which we worked intensively for in the preparation period. We have many talented players, who in a few years will also be in the 'A' team," said coach Petrovski.

The teams are divided into four groups (three with five, and one with six), of which the top two from each group will secure a place in the TOP 8 phase.

The Macedonian juniors will play in Group A against: Romania, Germany, Sweden and Ireland, respectively.
