Sixteen-year-old Luka Najdoski is a "child prodigy" in Prilep. He is the current world junior champion in aeromodelling, and is also ranked 13th in the world senior rankings for 2025, a success that speaks for itself.
At the World Cup in Aeromodelling, in the F1A – glider category, in an exceptionally strong junior competition from all over the world, Luka won first place, once again confirming that talent, hard work and dedication always bring results.
He is a member of the Prilep aviation club "Phil Phoenix", and is currently a high school student studying at the Aviation Academy in Belgrade, majoring in aviation engineering, a rare and scarce profession in our country. His desire is clear, he sees his future in aviation.
With these words, Prilep Mayor Dejan Prodanoski extended special congratulations to Luka and his brother Dino, who is also successfully involved in this sport and is part of this beautiful sports family story that promotes Prilep on a global level.
Prodanoski announced that Prilep will host two significant international events this summer: the World Junior Championship and the European Senior Championship in Aeromodelling. The same will be held from July 26 to August 2 at the field in the village of Veselchani, with the participation of around 45 national teams from around the world and over 450 competitors.
