Health Minister Azir Aliu announced today that in addition to Slovenia, they are already negotiating with Italy and Austria so that our staff can be trained.
– They will go on a short stay there and we have to work in parallel to be able to create infrastructure and human capacities. Also, digitalization will help so that our doctors, experts who live outside our country can be active and involved in our healthcare system. I think that the system will solve one of those basic infrastructure solutions for communication outside the country, for citizens to be served, but also to be sure that the data of our patients is in safe hands – said Aliu, answering a journalist's question in the municipality of Butel, where the construction of a new polyclinic in this municipality was announced.
Responding to a journalist's question about who will work in the new polyclinic in the municipality of Butel because there is a shortage of specialists in the other polyclinics in the City of Skopje, Aliu said that they are working and there is already a working group for a national strategy for creating human capacities in healthcare.
– We are currently working intensively on hiring private trainees and nurses, and I hope that soon, after creating a sufficiently modern infrastructure, we will have the opportunity to come here and have a press conference about staffing the entire polyclinic with doctors and nurses – said Aliu.
