The leadership meeting that took place yesterday between Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski and the president of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, met with many reactions from the public and citizens, but it is more than clear that the SDSM government does not take into account the national interest.
After the leadership meeting, Mickoski made a statement where he clearly said that VMRO-DPMNE is ready to enter the government with SDSM and other political parties, but without a government of the Democratic Union for Integrations, that is, to form a government of broad national unity in which there is no to be part DUI.

At this offer from Mickoski for the exit of DUI from the government, Kovacevski did not accept this proposal.
- He believed that some parties should not be part of the Government, and others should enter. I believe that we as a Government need a broad unification of all. I told you the goals - constitutional amendments, completion of the constitutional amendments, the screening process, opening chapters, closing one or two chapters, then elections in accordance with the law. That is why I believe that it will be a government of unification, European integration, and not a government of destabilization, Kovacevski said.
Just to remind you, a few days ago the vice-president of VMRO-DPMNE, Aleksandar Nikoloski, clearly stated in a guest appearance that the Macedonians are fed up with concessions for over 30 years at the expense of the national identity, and once and for all it is necessary to put an end to it.

After all this, it can be concluded that SDSM and Kovacevski want to keep DUI in the government and that the tenders are more important to them than the national interest. This is also confirmed by the biggest scandal related to Bechtel and Enka, where due to the coalition of SDSM and DUI, Macedonia for the construction of corridors 8 and 10d will not cost 1,3 billion euros, as the government said, but much more.
