Jakim Azzopardi has caught a fish bigger than many anglers' personal records even though he is only 11 years old.
Azzopardi had an impressive catch in the waters off Cape Otway in Australia when he was fishing with his father Matthew and their friend Philip Pirot.
Jakim fought the fish by himself from start to finish and it took about an hour. His father and a friend eventually helped him pull the fish out of the water.
The Atlantic bluefin tuna caught by Jakim weighed 116,5 kilograms, which is several times heavier than the boy.
“She was bigger than me. "My hands still hurt," said the boy.
Matthew Azzopardi added that his son's catch was the biggest fish he had brought aboard.
