PART OF THE MONOGRAPH "SLAVE KATYN – LIFE AND WORKS"
In 1993, I published the study "The Macedonian emigrant press -1945-1992"(1993),NIO "Studentski zbor", 254 pages in Macedonian, whose reviewers are Dr. Boro Mokrov and Dr. Vesna Sopar. This work is a continuation of the publication "The development of the Macedonian press and journalism" for the period from 1902 to 1945 by Dr. Boro Mokrov, a work of the Association of Journalists of Macedonia.
For its preparation I used many sources, publications, scientific papers, reports, interviews and other archival data, but also from my own fund at my disposal in this field, based on my many years of research. This work aims to enrich journalistic historiography, which in the last few decades has been widely developed among Macedonians around the world.
It can be said that the emergence of the Macedonian emigrant community in the Pacific countries of Australia, Canada, the USA and in European countries is an expression of the long-standing, arduous struggle of Macedonian immigrants (regardless of which part of Macedonia they came from) for the affirmation of their national identity and that of Macedonia.
This does not only mean recognizing and affirming the Macedonian emigrant community, but also revealing their cultural, national, educational, social, political, and spiritual significance through the prism of Macedonian media outlets, radio stations, and television shows that they organize around the world.

Therefore, the professor at the Department of Journalism at the Faculty of Philosophy "St. Cyril and Methodius", Tome Gruevski, will write the following:
"Katyn managed to complete and publish the book that covers the expatriate press from three continents – mainly where larger conglomerations of the Macedonian emigration live and work – Australia, North America (USA and Canada) and Europe. In the mentioned countries, for a period of 45 years, the press is covered by about 150 printed media and over 40 radio and TV hours. Macedonian news media in overseas countries and Europe have a special importance and play a huge role in the preservation of the Macedonian language, culture and religion in deepening the national spirit" wrote Tome Gruevski, MA.
"The publication ""The Macedonian Emigrant Press" is the first work of its kind in Macedonia, which aims to fill a certain gap in the historiographic analysis of the press among the emigrants.о in Australia, Canada, the United States and Europe. In its preparation, Katin used many sources (publications, scientific papers, reports, conversations and other archival data), as well as his own fund in this field, based on his many years of research.",wrote the reviewer Boro Mokrov.
