Klasiko Band, one of the leading Macedonian music groups, has released its latest single "Zemji tuđi pkoli nashi". This emotional song is dedicated to all Macedonians who, due to life circumstances, left their homeland in search of a better future. With deep and sincere lyrics, the song touches the hearts of many, especially those who are far from home.
Inspired by their numerous performances in front of the Macedonian diaspora around the world, Classico Band created this musical pearl as the first author's song that describes the feelings of migrant workers. As the members themselves say, such songs are always dearest to those who are far from home, because they find their emotions and stories in them.
The music for "Foreign lands are our pains" is the work of the famous Macedonian musician Zlatko Miladinovski, and the text was written by Anita Daeva, who with her poetic talent manages to capture deep feelings and nostalgia. The recording of the song took place in the renowned City Sound studio in Skopje, providing top quality sound and performance.
Together with the song, Klasiko Band also promoted the video that complements the story of the song, their debut, which apart from the official YouTube channel, the Macedonian audience had the opportunity to watch it for the first time on the best Macedonian music television in our country, Balkan Music TV.
The video is produced by one of the best – Art Studio Production, and it features young people from Kavadarci, who enrich the visual story with their energy. The main actor in the video is Dime Kocevski, a famous actor from the Kavadarci theater, who plays the role of the father. His performance carries the weight of the emotions and pain felt by those who are separated from their loved ones.
Classico Band is already announcing new projects, among which is a Macedonian set of wedding songs, which will be packed into 60 minutes of cheerful and traditional music, created with great care and love. This release, as they promise, will bring much joy and merriment to all the weddings where it is heard.
In addition, Classico Band is looking forward to their trip to Izmir, Turkey, where they will perform in front of the audience there in May. At this concert, all famous Macedonian folk songs will be performed, as well as current hits, which will create a real Macedonian party and will convey the spirit of Macedonian culture and music to Turkey.
