Daniel Ricciardo in an Australian off-road adventure

After months of waiting, we finally got to see Daniel Ricciardo in Red Bull Racing's F1 car, but it's not the RB19 car that Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are using this season, but the old RB7 car.

In a video released by Red Bull Racing, Ricciardo is seen driving the RB7 car used by Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel in 2011. The RB7 helped the German win his second world title, and Vettel called it Kinky Kylie.

The next Formula 1 race is taking place this weekend in Australia, so Red Bull decided to announce it in their own style.

The video also features Hannah Schmitz, Red Bull Racing's strategic engineer, who in collaboration with Ricciardo is "preparing" for the upcoming race even though the RB7 is powered by a 2,4-liter V8 engine with a KERS system and has almost nothing in common with the cars from the hybrid era, but the story dedicated to Australia is important.

Ricardo went on a "dusty" off-road adventure with the car and visited several different locations and surfaces in order to "collect" the necessary data for the car's settings.

The video ends with a billboard showing the 780-mile distance to Melbourne, so Red Bull could release another promotional video leading up to the race itself.
