The organizing committee of the International Festival "Jacob from Kamena Reka" presented the activities for the upcoming festival that will be held on November 22 of this year.
As part of the festival and this year, as the director of the festival, Mile Gjorgjijoski, said at the press conference, a competition has been announced for beautiful writing in Cyrillic with cursive writing in the Macedonian language, which is intended not only for students from primary and secondary schools in the Republic, but also for age categories (international). At the same time, he announced that the cooperation with the libraries for the selection of the most read Macedonian author continues.
Vlatko Sitnovski from the association "Nadezh Nore", which is the organizer of the festival, announced that this year the festival will be enriched with guests from several countries.
This year, the Macedonian National Council from the Czech Republic, who are behind the festival, and a professor at the Christian Academy in Riga, Latvia, will be our guests at the festival. We are talking about a top Macedonian, who teaches calligraphy, and we will also provide calligraphy equipment with him, which will be given to KIC Romance. And this year, the winners of the awards are particularly eminent professors, doctors of science, actors and writers, and we will also have another university professor who comes from Macedonian Kamenica and is recognized in his field in the country and abroad, said Sitnovski.
The director of KIC "Romansa", Vancho Velinoski, emphasized that the Kamenica Culture Center remains always available for all activities related to the promotion of cultural actors from this region.
After the press conference in the Foyer, as part of the festival activities in cooperation with KIC "Romansa" and the Association for Architecture, Design and Culture "Archifact"-Skopje, and organized by Jasminka Namicheva, author of the informal network of museums - MuseumLink, an exhibition was opened of works by the famous Macedonian painter Rodoljub Anastasov.
