Britney Spears deletes Instagram after disturbing posts

Date:

Pop star Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account on November 2, following a series of disturbing posts amid a dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline over his recently released memoir, People reports. Her followers expressed concern over content she had shared in recent weeks, including a video of bruises on her hands.

Britney posted videos of herself dancing in her living room, but turned off comments on posts about her children, Jayden James (19) and Sean Preston (20).

One of the videos, posted on October 7, showed Spears with bruises on her arms and bandages around her hands and wrists. In the caption, she explained that she had fallen down the stairs and mentioned that her sons had to return to Hawaii, where she lives with Federline.

"My boys had to go back to Maui," she wrote, adding, "This is how I express myself and pray through art... I'm not here unfortunately, I want to be a good woman and be better... and I have great support, so have a wonderful day!"

In another post on October 19, Spears addressed her 2018 rehab from a 13-year restraining order and the impact it had on her life. She wrote in the post that she suffered "brain damage."

Federline's memoir exposes various allegations about Spears, their marriage, and her relationship with her children. The media has reported allegations of her parenting behavior, alleged infidelity, and a sense of fear that something bad might happen to her.

Spears took to social media on October 15 to accuse Federline of "constantly manipulating" her and defended her relationship with her children. She also criticized his media appearances, claiming that he "literally attacks" her in interviews.

Britney Spears' family is worried about the singer:

"Everyone wishes her the best, but she's making bad decisions right now."

Spears' representatives responded to the allegations in Federline's memoir:

"With the new information from Kevin's book, he is once again profiting at her expense, which comes after the alimony ended. Britney is solely concerned with her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and their well-being during this sensationalization. Everything is described in detail in her memoir."
