The Australian national team announced the appointment of Toni Popovic as the head coach of the national team. The 51-year-old football expert replaces Graham Arnold, who has been in charge of the team since 2018, in this position.

During his coaching career, Popovic worked at Crystal Palace, the Greek and Turkish national teams. He was in charge of Melbourne between 2021 and 2024.
